Location: Our charming boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Katoomba, is renowned for its exceptional location and historic value. We are now seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to elevate our service and standards to new heights. With a distinctive and impressive offering, this venue is poised to enhance its already excellent guest experience.

 

About Us: As part of the ICC Group, our Hotel Mountain Heritage enjoys a prime location within the beautiful Katoomba region. Set on exquisite grounds, it is a sought-after destination for a quintessential mountain retreat. Our second venue, Falls Mountain Retreat is located at Wentworth Falls and exists a short stay dual key townhouses.

 

Key Responsibilities: As the Hotel General Manager, you will lead our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all departments. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with other Senior Managers, your role will involve developing and implementing innovative operational efficiencies and delivering top-tier customer service to ensure return patronage.

Your responsibilities will include upholding business operational directives, maintaining high service standards, and fostering a guest-centric culture that consistently delivers exceptional service and unforgettable experiences.

 

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Extensive experience in managing boutique, guest-focused environments
  • Strong inventory management with a hands on focus
  • Effective leadership style that is both respectful and service-oriented
  • Ability to develop initiatives to build a loyal guest base, exceptional service structure, and repeat visitation
  • Ability to set and maintain systems and procedures to enhance both the employee and guest experience
  • Experience working with marketing teams to drive new business
  • Knowledge of the Blue Mountains area is advantageous, but not essential
  • Above all, a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to making every guest experience special
  • Ability to drive a culture of operational excellence
